Christmas Recipes from Latvia

  • 50g fresh ground coffee
  • 750g vodka
  • 350g sugar
  • 200g water
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ~1 knife end vanilla

Put into jar coffee and vanilla, add vodka, cover and let settle in refrigerator 1 week (stir each day!). Then filter. Pour water over the settlings and bring to a boil, and filter once more. Dissolve the sugar in this water. Mix the made syrup with a coffee mixture, add the boiled and chilled milk, and let settle in refrigerator still 1 week. Then filter once more.
