Recipes from Lebanon
- 1/2
glass of burgle (durum wheat
crusted)
- 3
branches of flat parsley
- 1
bunch of fresh mint
- 4
ripe tomatoes
- 4
green onions or 2 white
onions
- 1/2
glass of lemon juice
- Salt,
pepper and a pinch of red
pepper
Wash
the wheat several times of all
impurities, drain well. Chop
the onions, parsley and mint
very finely. Dice the tomatoes.
Season. Mix all ingredients
with the wheat. Add the oil
and lemon juice (lemon juice
to taste - this salad usually
has a lemon flavor).
Serve
with small lettuce leaves or
garden cabbage.
