Recipes from Panama
- 1 ½ cups
of rice
- 3
cups of water
- 1 ½ or
2 cups of evaporated milk
- ½ package
of raisins (250 g)
- 3
cinnamon sticks
- ½ teaspoon
of salt
- 15
tablespoons of sugar
Put
rice, water, cinnamon and salt
in a covered pot to cook for
approximately 20 minutes. When
the rice is soft, add the sugar
and milk. Next, let the mixture
simmer over low heat for 30
minutes - be sure to check it
so that it does not dry out.
Divide
into bowls and sprinkle with
ground cinnamon.
